2. Job vacancy data

Vacancy content comes from Civil Service Bureau open data feeds (DATA.GOV.HK / CSB JSON). That information is public government data. We store a copy on our servers to power search, filters, and notifications.

3. Information we collect

We do not require an account. We do not collect location. We do not sell personal data.

• Push token — Expo / device push token, when you enable notifications.
• Notification preferences — e.g. new jobs, closing soon, digest, quiet hours, language, platform.
• Saved search alerts — filter criteria you choose (department, civil/non-civil, job nature).
• On-device only — saved job IDs, recently viewed IDs, and a local job cache for offline use. These stay on your device unless you clear app data.

4. How we use information

• Deliver push notifications you opted into.
• Match new vacancies to your saved search alerts.
• Respect quiet hours and digest preferences.
• Improve reliability of search and sync.

5. Device permissions

• Notifications — optional; for job alerts.
• Calendar — optional; only when you add a deadline to your calendar.

6. Third parties

• Expo / Apple / Google — push delivery infrastructure.
• Hosting provider — stores vacancy data and push preference records.

7. Retention

Push tokens and alert preferences are kept while you use the App and may be removed if the token becomes invalid or you request deletion. Local caches are under your control (uninstall / clear storage).

8. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
